Pastor Marva Thomas was born in Trinidad and Tobago West Indies, she migrated to the United States of American in 1981. One year later, she committed her life to the Lord and became a member of Calvary Cathedral of Praise, subsequently in 1983; she attended the Manhattan Bible Institute, where she was certified as an Evangelist. She became a devoted member of the Calvary’s choir and ministered as a Sunday school teacher, praise and worship leader and youth leader.
In the year 2000, she was ordained as a prophetess at the School of Destiny in Long Island and, despite her role as a wife and mother of five children, she ventured into worldwide evangelistic ministry. She functioned as a missionary, evangelist and teacher. Some countries where she has ministered are Trinidad and Tobago, Belize, Nigeria and Kenya Africa, Guyana, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Panama, and other parts of the USA including New York and Philadelphia.
In the year 2005, she was ordained as a Minster at Calvary Cathedral of Praise, where she served as the Assistant Pastor at the annex located at 151 Woodruff Avenue, Brooklyn, NY for ten years.
She acquired her BS in Pastoral Ministry from Nyack College.
She is currently the Pastor of her own ministry Divine Anointing Touch Ministries located at 243-35 Merrick Blvd Rosedale Queen NY
She continues to move by the leading of Holy Spirit and endeavors to serve the Lord as he directs with her husband and children by her side. She is a woman of great faith.
In addition, her ministries includes but are not limited to: the planning, organizing and conducting training workshops for young people for their future leadership roles; she has also selected dedicated women, which she currently mentors to assist in their spiritual and social development to equip them for ministry. She also conducts a weekly prayer group for healing, deliverance and intercessory pray and cancer support ministry.
